Embercombe Autumn Camp

Over the Autumn Half Term we will be opening our doors for you to join us in this precious valley of Embercombe. Join us for a long weekend to spend time with family and friends on our beautiful land.

Come camping with your family or friends in our simple and socially distanced yurt village and glamping caravans, sit around the fire, swim in the lake or simply use this as an opportunity to explore the surrounding area of forest and moor.

This is a chance to spend time on the land, in whichever way suits you – enjoying our facilities, our delicious chef-cooked plant based food, the woods, the meadows – making new friends or spending time with your own friends and family.

Supporting Families

Joanna WatersFor families joining this camp we have a special opportunity to book a one to one family coaching session with Joanna Waters who runs our Grow The Grown Ups course her at Embercombe.

Joanna will be here to support families as they navigate the uncertainty of this time.

Joanna will give a free talk and introduction to her work to support parents of young children into authentic realistic conscious parenting, valuing their connection to themselves, to each other and to the environment.

Is This For You?

  • During this uncertain time do you wish to spend some gentle time in beauty with your loved ones?
  • Do you long to connect to the simple pleasures in life surrounded by friends and family?
  • Do you long to take some time to reflect on where you are in your life?
  • Do you longed for meaningful connection with nature and the changing seasons?
  • Do you long for a sense of belonging and meaning in life?
  • Do you want time to dream?
  • Do you want food to be a pleasure and an adventure that doesn’t cost the earth?
  • Do you want to sit round the fire, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin, swim in the lake, run through the woods, laugh with the children and find once again a deep gratitude for the incredible gift that life is?

What to Expect

From the moment you arrive you will be welcomed by the friendly Embercombe team who will do all they can to make you feel at home. You will live with the other guests on site creating a village feel while observing the safe social distancing that is necessary at this time.

Meals are served at regular times but the schedule is relaxed allowing you to rest and to create your own activities. You can stay in the valley or travel a little further to the moor and the coast, or walk, cycle and ‘Go Ape’ in our neighboring forest.

Our delicious plant based menu is full of soul, designed by our chefs with a passion for ethical and joyful food and a talent for leading you on a sensual cooking adventure.

This will be a non-facilitated event – so whilst you will be cared for by the on-site team you are free to choose how you would like to spend your time.  You will camp as a village in our simple but comfy yurts, in a socially distanced way with other campers.
