Embercombe Wellness Days

Join us for a new series of free Wellness Days in our Medicine Wheel Garden and Community Orchard for communities in the Teign Valley and around Devon.

We will be restoring our heritage apple orchard and traditional medicine garden from October 2022 as we explore the world of wild medicine and plants throughout the four seasons together, and will be open to anyone interested in learning about plants and natural remedies, tree and orchard care, how we can deepen our relationship with the natural world and its benefits on our health and wellbeing.

Our series of free events will allow you to connect and learn about seasonal herbalism, nature connection and mindfulness in nature, orchard care and food forestry, and each day has been created as a perfect day out to enjoy our sensing relationship with the natural world on our beautiful rewilding 50 acre estate.

We are excited to announce our next sessions:

6 AUGUST – BE MINDFUL IN NATURE DAY – Join us as we focus on our own mindfulness as we take a slow stroll through the orchard o eth woods at Embercombe for some Forest bathing, led by Anna Leatherdale.

13 SEPTEMBER – WEEK DAY FORAGING AND AUTUMN HERBS – Come along and learn about foraging herbs, flowers, berries and fruits with expert, Leah Tolman.

28 OCTOBER – FULL CIRCLE AND HARVEST CEREMONY – Join us for a feast and celebration of the years achievements as well as getting involved with apple juice pressing.
