Embercombe Seed Day & Film

Come and join us for a day of learning about, and celebrating seed. It will be a full day of discussion and practical workshops on producing high quality organic vegetable seed from your home garden, market garden, or small-holding.

Cost: £35 per person – includes delicious organic vegetarian lunch and dinner prepared with produce from our beautiful gardens

Also included in the price is entry to a screening of the new documentary SEED: The untold story on Saturday Evening

Topics covered during the day will include:  introduction to growing seed from the main vegetable crop families –  harvesting, processing, and storing seed – a brief history and potential future of the UK seed industry – seed swapping space – documentary screening in the evening
