Fi – Beloved Barefoot Beauty

On Wednesday 6th April, we will be honouring and celebrating the life of our dearest Fiona Barnes, ‘Fi’, at Embercombe. Her burial will be held on the land and her family are inviting friends and kindred souls, to join us for the ceremony.

Fi, with her beautiful luminescence and boundless generosity, touched the hearts of thousands who spent time at Embercombe over the years. With her deep care and gracious embrace, she enabled everyone to feel instantaneously safe and held on the land. Many, if not most, would say it felt as if they were returning home, as she welcomed them with her blue-eyed gaze, beaming smile, wondrous kindness and beloved bare-foot presence. And her extraordinary capacity to connect to essence, with her never-ending weaving of unconditional love and compassion, is what brought people back time and time again.

Words cannot express how greatly she will be missed and we appreciate hundreds will resonate with immense gratitude for her earth loving wisdom and all the beauty and magic she created within their lives.

This invite is open to all those who have been blessed to know and walk alongside the exceptionally remarkable, inspirational and joyous soul that is Fi, as we honour her life and everything she gifted.
