“Re-mystifying the most misunderstood phenomena of a woman’s body by telling the true tales about our Blood”
The Blood Tales is a one woman show which will transport you into the mystical landscape of Blood through the lens of a hilariously funny wicked witch from London.
Mixing the sacred with the profane , the outrageous with the sensical , insanity with normality , this political , provocative , sensational and revolutionary performance will change what you thought about menstrual Blood, for e v e r.
The show dispels the outworn stories of shame and disgust into tales of beauty and power through the cauldron of this experimental and elemental theatrical performance. Creating a field of magic that ripples into the political aswell as the spiritual dimensions of a woman’ s holy red river, offering the promise of a new paradigm, as seen from the Moon.
Deeply provocative , sensual and political , this modern-day myth will turn you on to a different reality and show you that the revolution does indeed lie in-between blood kissed thighs.
N.B. Overnight stays are only available to people signed on the the Women & Daughters Weekend
This show includes some nudity and swearing so may not be suitable for young children

Kate Joyner
Kate Joyner came into theatre by way of her poetry. Gifted one summer with the ability to transcribe the voice that was whispering into her left ear, she knew that her body and her voice were important in the transmission of these words.
Her performance becomes a tool for speaking the long lost voices of the feminine wild in devotion and as an antidote to our troubled times. She mentors others in becoming artists of Eros through The Dancing Serpent Mystery School.
