Lore Wilson

Lore first encountered Embercombe while taking part in The Journey in 2021. Their transformative experience on the programme led to them volunteering on the Housekeeping Team throughout much of 2022, and then later taking up a voluntary administrative position in the Programmes Team.

Drawing on their background in charity fundraising and administration as well as their experience founding and running their own Community Interest Company, Lore is excited to be taking on the new role of Co-ordinator at Embercombe, supporting the delivery teams behind the scenes, and working to increase efficiency in the current systems and processes.

They are passionate about the environment and finding ways for humans to live in reciprocity with the rest of nature in a sustainable way, and love that Embercombe provides a space for others to explore this for themselves.

What does Embercombe mean to you?

Embercombe is a piece of sacred land, a refuge for wildlife, a community of like-minded individuals but most of all, it is a place where we can be held while we discover our authentic selves, what we can offer and our place in this world.
