What are your deepest and most profound responsibilities?
Living and working in Community can be challenging. We see community as inclusive of all ages, demographics, and those with whom we don’t necessarily agree. In this way we are challenged to live and act courageously and authentically, to be open and recognise and address our own challenges.
Sustainability has become a cornerstone of the way we think about the challenges we face in the world today. True sustainability will lead us to acknowledge our relationship to the delicate, interconnected web of life that has allowed the extraordinary phenomenon of our existence on this blue planet.
Connection to nature, community and ourselves underpins everything we do at Embercombe. By exploring our inner landscape, we can develop authentic relationships and experience a deeper connection. In this way Embercombe offers a glimpse of what is possible when we go back to the world outside the gates.
