The pigs at Embercombe have been disrupting and disturbing the land as part of our rewilding action.
A few weeks ago we put pigs out on part of our wild land to bring some chaos and disruption to the land! (please see my previous post here). The pigs have been doing a fantastic ‘job’ of turning over the turf and soil with their snouts. This is called rootling and it mimics that of wild boar, which are now lost from our landscape.
