Dowsing

The Energetics of Place: Dowsing at Embercombe

With John & Jill Moss, with special guest Mac Macartney

Are you curious to learn the ancient and simple art of dowsing – tuning into subtle energies and vibrations which are largely undetectable with modern instruments?

17th July - 18th July The Energetics of Place - Dowsing at Embercombe Book Now

Times: Sun. 17th – 18th July 10 am – 4 pm

Fee: residential £220 – non-residential £155

Dowsing

Join us for these two days at Embercombe as we explore the energies of the place, from earth energies, to underground waterways, to ancient archaeological remains.

You will learn how to dowse, accessing your natural ability available, out on the land, in our gardens and meadows and not least our stone circle – comparing energy fields, investigating the patterns of flow through the site.

In the classroom you will learn about the electromagnetic fields of the earth and how these can become distorted, and what can be done about it, as well as the effects of electromagnetic radiation.

This is an opportunity to learn a new skill, from both a practical and theoretical perspective, how you can apply it in your own life, and on a piece of land where we can have a live inquiry into whether a modern stone circle, build with intention and imbued with ongoing ceremonial practice, has an energetic imprint that differs from the surrounding land or indeed, the ancient stone circles of Great Britain.

The uses for dowsing are about as numerous as the sceptics of this traditional art. Yet, despite the scepticism, the practice lives on, with dowsers and dowsing societies across the counties, using their tools to connect with the seen and unseen. Now you have the opportunity to wander the beautiful Embercombe valley, with dowsing rods in hand, and experience this traditional practice for yourself.

What To Expect

Over the course of two days you will:

  • Learn and understand the theory and practice of dowsing.
  • Understand the different applications of dowsing, including how to dowse for: water; other underground concealed objects such as pipes and drains; archaeological remains; earth energies; and food sensitivities.
  • Learn how to analyse different types of earth energies
  • Recognise beneficial and non-beneficial locations
  • Understand the basics of Geopathic stress and Geopsychic stress
  • Understand the challenges of Technopathic stress (electro-stress, WIFI etc)

You will be provided with all learning and practice materials that you require.

Learning will take place in the classroom and out on the land of Embercombe.

Meals are provided even for non-residential participants.
