What do we offer?
Embercombe is a place where you can get back to your roots – a place with an immediate sense of connection with nature, with each other and with yourself, your purpose and your creativity.
We have a selection of quirky and simple spaces for meetings and accommodation, set within 50 acres of old woodland, meadow and gardens in a magical Devonshire valley. We have a stone circle for those looking for ceremony, a lake for wild swimming and a large and versatile group room that can accommodate performance, dances and speaking events.
Our emphasis is on inspiring people to live in close relationship with nature and co-creating a regenerative future, and we apply this to everything we do, from our menu to our indoor and outdoor spaces, and to hosting we provide.
We are located in the countryside just 8 miles from Exeter, 1.40 hours from Bristol and 3.5 hours from London. With Exeter’s train stations, coach services and airport, we can arrange for taxis or a minibus to get your group here.
Why come to Embercombe?
A chance to come away into the wilds, breaking with technology and day-to-day routine, into a beautiful natural space that encourages simplicity, authenticity and relationship-building.
